Congratulations Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band had an Excellent performance this past Tuesday.  Four of the six judges rated the band's performance as Excellent (II) or Superior (I).

Honor Band to Varsity UIL - Monday Rehearsal, Tuesday Performance

The schedule is posted below and on the Honor Band tab

Rehearsal Monday after School 3:45 - 4:45.  (rides ready to pick up before 5:00)
All Honor Band students should plan to be at this rehearsal.  Students who have not played and passed off their music for Mr. Flemons must attend this rehearsal to get to go on the trip.

Early departure on Tuesday.  Please plan to arrive at school early on Tuesday.  We need to rehearse from 7:30 to 8:00.  Load bus and depart by 8:30

Dress -  Concert Black - All black or black and grey dress clothes.  Black shoes, socks, pants, shirt.  Coat and tie may be worn but not required.  Girls may wear a skirt but not required.  Skirts must be to the knee or longer and tights or hose worn with the skirt.

Lunch plans - we will be stopping at Braum's for lunch.  There menu is burgers, sandwiches,  shakes, ice cream, etc.  Bring money to purchase your lunch.

7:30 AM - Warm up in Walker Band Hall

8:00 AM – Pack equipment and load bus

8:30 AM - Depart for Contest

9:30 AM - Arrive Red Oak HS, check in, unload equipment

10:00 AM - Official Warm Up begins

10:30 AM - Stage Performance

11:00 AM - Sight Reading Performance

11:30 AM - Pack and Load bus

12 Noon - Lunch stop

1:00 PM - Depart for Walker

2:00 PM - Arrive at Walker
