The E. D. Walker Symphonic Band performed at the Murchison Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of North Texas Saturday May 5, as part of the Peak Music Festival. The band put on its best concert to date and came away with a 1st Division rating and trophy for the performance.
In addition to the performance students also went on a walking tour of the University and the School of Music. After walking the University campus the band went to Mr. Frosty's, a community favorite, and feasted on burgers and ice cream before heading back to Walker, victorious!
Students, we are proud of you! Good job representing E.D. Walker and Dallas ISD!
