Beginning Band

Beginners should all have secured their instrument at this time.  They should be working on the following:

• The first 3 notes with professional
• posture
• position 
• tone production
• Learning the maintenance and care of their instrument

Concert and Symphonic Bands

Students will be practicing and preparing the following music

• All-City/All-Region Etudes and Scales - this is a project grade this six weeks
• Pep band - Stands music - for chair tests
• Music for concerts - sight reading

Students will bring home field trip permission forms that need to be completed and returned ASAP

Rehearsal schedule

Morning practice in the band hall is 7:45 - 8:15 each day except Wednesday.
All  afternoon sectionals are from 3:45 - 4:45
Monday -  Flute sectional 
Tuesday - Clarinet and Saxophone
Wednesday - Trumpets
Thursday - Low brass and Low Woodwinds
