Concert Band and Symphonic Band to travel to UIL Regionals
The Concert and Symphonic bands will travel to Cedar Hill TX April 5 and 6 to perform in the UIL Region 20 Concert and Sight Reading evaluations. Eligible members of the Concert Band will travel on April 5 and eligible members of the Symphonic Band will travel on April 6. See the schedules below.Students that are traveling to the contest will need $6 for CiCi's pizza that day.
Dress for the day of the contest is Concert Black. Black, grey or a combination is acceptable. Black dress pants or school pants are acceptable for boys or girls. Black shoes. Black shirt. Boys may wear a coat and tie but are not required. Girls may wear a dress or skirt as long as the skirt is knee length or longer. A skirt that is above the knee is not acceptable. Girls that show up with a skirt above the knee will be asked to change. Any student not in concert attire may not be allowed to go on the trip.
April 5 - Concert Band
10:00 - Meeting in the Band Hall
10:30 - Load bus and depart
11:00 - Lunch at CiCi's pizza
11:45 - Load bus and depart for contest
12:30 -Arrive at Cedar Hill High School - 1 Longhorn Dr. Cedar Hill TX

Check in
Travel to warm up location
1:30 - Warm Up
2:00 - Stage performance
2:30 - Sight Reading performance
3:00 - Load bus
3:30 - Depart for Walker
4:45 - Arrive at Walker, unload equipment, then dismissed
April 6 - Symphonic Band

11:15 - Load bus and depart
11:30 - Lunch at CiCi's pizza
12:30 - Load bus and depart for contest
2:00 -Arrive at Cedar Hill High School - 1 Longhorn Dr. Cedar Hill TX
