Band Booster Parent Volunteers needed!
The Walker Band is hosting the All-City Band Auditions Monday evening Nov 4.
Parents are needed to help...
- with set up at 4:00 PM
- Serve/Sell concessions from 4:30 - 6:00
- Move chairs and stands back to the bandroom when the auditions are over
Band Boosters! this would be a great opportunity to sell hot dogs, nachos, sodas, chips to the visiting students and their families. Please consider a concession booth in the cafeteria that evening.
We need parents to help...
- sell concessions
- run a cake walk
- send cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc for the cake walk
Parents we need to meet to finalize plans for these events. I would like to meet with any parents who are available Friday afternoon from 4:00 - 5:00. If you cannot meet at that time but want to help with any of the events please email me at jflemons@dallasisd.org and let me know you can help.

In Class this week
7th and 8th Grade All-City Auditions Monday EveningSelect 7th and 8th grade students will be auditioning for All-City Band Monday evening starting at 5 O'clock. They should be putting in as much time as possible practicing in the evenings and on the weekend to prepare for the auditions
Beginners
Are working on material in Lessons 5 - 14 to prepare for the December concert
Charms log in
All students should be logging into https://www.charmsoffice.com/ to log their practice time and put in parent contact information. The school code is edwalkermsband and their password is their student ID #
